Today there is still a delay on testing the delay pedal.

I took the little amplifier apart again and I added in that .01 µF capacitor but I did not change the fuse holder.

I didn’t add any more stain to the mahogany. I just threw a couple coats of shellac on it and called it good enough.

I got one of the ends mounted crooked so I need to take it apart one more time and drill another hole.

Then finally when I am ready to test it, I will also test the new delay.

Then I will be jumping back to the guitar workbench again.

I am seeing a headless guitar in my future.

I straightened out my crooked leg and buttoned it all up for a test run with the booster and the new delay pedal.

The harsh glare of LEDs will never replace the soft glow of vacuum tubes.

And I still don’t have a proper pilot lamp, But I put my collection of LEDs away and I decided to wait for the real thing.

Otherwise, everything works well and I am really happy with the new delay pedal.

Ok finally. I noodle on the guitar for 10 minutes. I could’ve cut it down to 3:05 for airplay but screw it!

Here I am playing my sss partscaster directly into the amplifier and also through the JHS reverb and also combining a JHS delay.

At some point I switch the pick ups to the bridge pick up and leave it there.

I’m just recording with an iPhone pointed at the speaker so don’t expect too much. Also I’m not a professional musician so grit your teeth and bear with me.

Not only can you hear me switching pedals as I step on the switches but you can also hear my ceiling fan running.

My better half recently installed a camera / intercom unit down in my sawdust factory (won't dignify it with woodworking). She showed me the feed and I was shocked.

There is some old guy using all my tools and messing with the things I am attempting. Shocked, I will tell you, Shocked.

One of the things I'm practicing in the sawdust factory is finger jointing. This is a blue pine cabinet I am making into a speaker cabinet. Haven't decided yet as to how to load it. I am leaning towards a 2x10 4 ohm cab for one of my Bandmasters, but that might change.
