I saw one of the ads for those the other day. I thought they looked pretty dang cool.

I've got a satin honeyburst finish on my alder bodied Special. I'm thinking Lebanese Cedar pup covers would be the cat's meow >**<

Problem is, I don't see that they make covers in Lebanese Cedar. Perhaps a special order, is in-order.

I was thinking the same thing. I discovered wooden pickguards online today as well. This is an interesting notion.

Now we just need to talk one of our S-T buds into taking the dive and seeing what comes of it.

If the grain on the pickup was going from left to right. And not from top to bottom. That might look a whole lot better in my humble option. then it would run beside the neck grain.

Agreed, the conflict with grain is an issue. Running same direction however, is a lot more aesthetically pleasing.

If you're happy then nothing else matters. It's different

Though that is a great grain match pickup & neck

Has anyone heard them on the PUs. Wood absorbs sound/viberation so I wounder if they would make it sound too much base. You wouldn't get that straty sound.

I've been pondering the same thing.

In that wood not only absorbs, but also resonates; one has to wonder about the tonal dynamics.

The only issue, if you read the FAQ on their site, is they have double sided tape to adhere to the pickups, me personally I dont want to stick em to them directly like that.
