Unfortunately I’m at work till 2. So if anything I’d have to wait till after.everyone is telling you to drop everything and go get it ASAP. you should probably do that and show us the NGD photos.
That’s my MO when I’m guitar hunting. Especially on the used market. I’m at work till 2 so it won’t surprise me if it’s gone by the time I’m off work. That would be a nice deal, but I'm a "if it's meant to be, it'll happen" kinda guy..... so yeah - grab it if possible, but I wouldn't get too worked up over it if you miss out. (I'm also a "there's always another guitar" kinda guy.)
But snag it if you can!![]()
I’d stop everything I’m doing to get it if I wasn’t stuck at work. Currently on lunch break and stuck here till 2. I’ll find out if I can get it later today.Nice! Even at $800 I would consider it. Dude just go get it!
Sounds good!I was browsing my local Facebook marketplace and seller about an hour from me is selling some instruments and among them is a 2008 Fender Road Worn 60s Stratocaster in Olympic white for $300 and a hardshell case included. He says it’s part of a garage sale he’s having this weekend so I may pony up the money and make the drive. What do you guys think? What is your experience with the Road Worn series?

I’d likely buy it. Give it a fair shot by playing it and if it doesn’t suit me I would sell it. Let’s just hope it doesn’t sell before I get out of work today. If you plan to flip it, then yes, If it is for your own use...then I would want to hold it and play it first.

[Opens Craigslist. Sees same guitar listed in a nearby city for $750.]I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Stratocaster sold. I got the news from the seller after my shift ended at work. . I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
If you get to it, don't judge how it plays or how it's currently setup - that can be adjusted.
Did the listing just go up today?[Opens Craigslist. Sees same guitar listed in a nearby city for $750.]
Sorry -- I was predicting. I didn't make that very clear.Did the listing just go up today?
There’s one guy in my area buys and sells a lot and truth be told if I had gotten the RW Strat I might’ve flipped it after getting it set up and trying it. If I didn’t click with it. I wouldn’t mind a HW1 Strat at some point and the RW would’ve at least been a good trade piece.Sorry -- I was predicting. I didn't make that very clear.
There are two vultures in my area. They do it full time, and snap up every good deal within 15 minutes of it getting listed. The same guitars get listed the next day for several hundred more.
