That would be a nice deal, but I'm a "if it's meant to be, it'll happen" kinda guy..... so yeah - grab it if possible, but I wouldn't get too worked up over it if you miss out. (I'm also a "there's always another guitar" kinda guy. :))

But snag it if you can! :D

That’s my MO when I’m guitar hunting. Especially on the used market. I’m at work till 2 so it won’t surprise me if it’s gone by the time I’m off work.

I was browsing my local Facebook marketplace and seller about an hour from me is selling some instruments and among them is a 2008 Fender Road Worn 60s Stratocaster in Olympic white for $300 and a hardshell case included. He says it’s part of a garage sale he’s having this weekend so I may pony up the money and make the drive. What do you guys think? What is your experience with the Road Worn series?
Sounds good!

Very cheap for a Road Worn Strat. Buy it as soon as you can. They are great feeling guitars and Fender should have kept the series the way it was.

Did the listing just go up today?
Sorry -- I was predicting. I didn't make that very clear.

There are two vultures in my area. They do it full time, and snap up every good deal within 15 minutes of it getting listed. The same guitars get listed the next day for several hundred more.

There’s one guy in my area buys and sells a lot and truth be told if I had gotten the RW Strat I might’ve flipped it after getting it set up and trying it. If I didn’t click with it. I wouldn’t mind a HW1 Strat at some point and the RW would’ve at least been a good trade piece.
