Leaving the obvious joke from the title aside, I've been working on a 4 song EP for the past months, and life has been happening so even tho I should have had it released I barely got to mix 1 of the songs so far. Working on the other 3 but is gonna take a while, so I've decided to put that one...
Have you guys listened to the album?
For the first time in a long time with PJ, Im not being able to bond with the album.
Tried listening to it like 3 times, couldnt finish it.
Choruses dont hit me like they usually do, songs in general dont, I dont find interesting tones on guitars, nothing...
I thought it could be pretty fun to share around here the covers I've been doing over the last few months, on my YouTube channel. So far I've only been recording whatever songs I happen to be jamming around at the time, reflecting my broad musical taste and, well, hence the name of this little...
Are there any NEW bands with Female frontmen that ROCK?
A half-century ago there seemed to be a bunch of female bands that rocked.
Janis, Heart, Pat Benitar, Pretenders, Hole, Joan Jett, Runaways, Blondie, Garbage.... what happened?
Sure there are a few blues women, playing the same old...
The band I am in, Underwing, just released a new song called "Spirals"! In this song we tried to shed all our metally exterior and focus on other genres we like, like grunge, funk, as well as alt pop and rock. We filmed this music video in a cave with very little oxygen, 250 lights as well as 8...
When I first got my Strat eight years ago, I followed this forum like a hawk. I remember the agonising feeling of waiting for the Strat to arrive in the mail and the immense joy of receiving it!
Today I celebrate the 8 year anniversary of getting my Strat in my hands for the first time (I have a...
Hey guys!
The band I am in, Underwing, recently recorded a music video in an abandoned office building.
We were told that we could basically trash the place. So we dragged a bunch of pinecones, branches and stuff like that into one of the rooms and went nuts.
Would love to hear what you think...
Since nothing else has been proposed, are we in the mood to try something a bit raunchy,
maybe?
Downloadable backing track:
Watch out for the descending chords at about 1:25 in... otherwise, it's pretty straightforward.
Well, imo anyhow. You tell me...

Hello Sage people,
I currently own an Egnater Rebel 30, which I am pretty happy with for the last 10 years or so. I am looking for something new, portable, tube, and durable. I play mostly DIY strats with humbuckers & single coils. I play classic rock (rhythm & lead) and gig about once a month...
Recently had me old PC die on me.Got a bargain Dell I5 recon off Ebay for under a 100 beer tokens to keep going.Whilst swapping files from back-up found an old Jam I did to a ZZ top backing.Mix is a bit,"Mono" but great for the car,
HYL :D
Finished a bit of work/contract a week or so ago and been lazy on any new stuff but was digging around my Soundcloud stuff and thought I'd post this.I did it some years ago but the thing about playing over this kind of ,"Floyd" and then listening to always de-stresses me so grab a couple of...
Howdy,
If anyone's curious what it would sound like if punk, funk, spy music, blues, big band, and prog rock got into a street fight, well, here's my closest approximation of it:

As always, all the guitars are strats.
Disclaimer: Lots of naughty...
A friend who plays bass invited me to play a gig with his band. They play mostly blues and 70s rock covers, and they needed someone to play lead guitar fills here and there and throw in some solos too.
Some of the songs are:
Muddy Waters - I’m ready
Eric Clapton - Key to the highway (EC's...
Haven't posted in a while, so here's something I jammed recently with a few friends.
Some of the songs on his latest album might sound a little odd, but I enjoyed the groove on this one. As usual, critique of the mix or playing welcome.
Finally got round to doing something new.Took me a while as the backing track kept throwing up ideas. Finally settled down with a couple of beers<grin> :D
Big thanks to Mr 258 Lemons for the YouTube backing track :thumb:
I'm new 'round here but I figured it wouldn't hurt to share some music.

It's off of my roadhouse blues/rock album for which I'm looking for some band members (*cough cough).
Of course, the guitars were recorded with a Strat for this...
im torn whether I should get a Strat or a les Paul for my next guitar. I currently play my fender Tele which has a neck pick up that sounds very much like a Strat. But I've always loved strats and am used to the whole fender feel. I have never owned a Gibson but love the bluesy sound one can get...
Tripped over a good backing to one of Gary's greats on Youtube and my,"Les Paul" called to me.Can't beat the slight semi-acoustic design of a Les Paul for overdrive sustain :)
As always I just do my own thang.
