I've wanted another amp for a little bit now. With my band I'm using a Randall rg100es and I love that head with a tube screamer in front of it. So I grabbed a Randall rh100 g2 for home use but soon realized I wanted something a little more versatile. So I found this head for a very very good price... I know they have a bit if a bad rep, but with a tube screamer you can make both stages in the gain section sound fantastic. With out the tube screamer it is pretty dull to be honest..
The clean channel on the other hand rocks... It is full and chimes like it should.. Pretty surprised.. So far it seems to take effects well .

Any ways this is cool and will get me from blues to metal pretty easily. Keeping this one as a home rig so it won't moved be much at all.

man i love the jcm 2000. i had a dsl 100 half stack that sounded really really good. but i sold it when i moved to florida. i dont understand why they have a bad rap. congrats on your tsl. there is a tsl half stack being sold by a friend of mine here for $750. its been used and shows it, but it works perfectly.

so jumping the effects loop and running a super tube up front makes this thing a metal machine.. the effect loop jumping is really neat... it almost takes the "choke" out of the tone and opens it up more. i have a feeling this amp will be a lot of fun to get to know.
