Would Toneriders work with a compound radius neck?

I've a 2015 American Deluxe V-neck, currently stock with N3 Noiseless pickups.

I've also a loaded guard with Tonerider Classic Blues single coil.

Very tempted to try the Tonerider set in the Deluxe, but I swear I read somewhere (maybe even here, lol) the Toneriders don't play well with compound radius necks, such as that on my guitar. 9.5-14. I think it has something to do with magnet stagger.

But, right on the package, as plain as day........"For All Stratocasters".

🤔

I think they'd be fine. The Tone Riders have a modern stagger which I assume means that they no longer have the G string pole sticking up extra high as was needed for a wound G.

Neck radius shouldn't make any difference. String distance from the pole piece varies depending on where you are on any neck. It's a whole lot closer when I fret at the 17th versus fretting at the third. So even if I have a guitar with adjustable pole pieces, what fret would I adjust for? Even if I were to pick the "Ideal" fret to set it up for, when I play a note at the 10th and then fret a note on 13, the distance and volume will vary some minute amount.

The stagger they give you should help with equalizing string volume in general. But there's no perfect adjustment.
