Will an American Deluxe neck plate fit on an American Ultra?

It’s so hard to get an answer, even after searching the web. Has anyone tried to put an American Deluxe neck plate on an American Ultra or Ultra Luxe Strat or Tele?
The hole spacing on the left side from the top hole to the bottom hole needs to be 1.125 (1 1/8) inch.

For what it’s worth I just today ordered an American deluxe neck plate. I’m happy to take measurements of it when it arrives. I’m replacing a rectangular plate.
I ended up buying an actual American Ultra neck plate from Stratosphere. I was afraid it would sell out, as it was the last one, and they’re hard to get. I think the Deluxe neck plates have the two left side holes about 1/8 inch closer then on the Ultra.

Let’s compare notes anyway when they arrive so we can have it documented for others.
Will do.

looks the same as my old professional II contour plate. Center of mounting holes 2 inches on the larger side, and 1 1/8 inches on the smaller. 1.5 inches across for the bottom holes.
Interesting. I thought only the Ultra and Ultra Luxe would be 1 1/8 because of the slant contour around the heel on the back of the body. Thanks for the info.

I own a 2021 MIM Deluxe Statocaster, and I replaced my neckplate with an American Ultra neckplate. It
fit perfectly! So, I'm pretty sure a MIM Deluxe plate is the same size as the American Deluxe before it.
That said, I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable. Final note: Both the MIM Deluxe and the American
ULTRA have curved plates with NO micro-tilt hole. The American Professional still has a micro-tilt hole.

You have your answer but for the heck of it, I took some screen grabs from Fender's web site of the deluxe curved and the normal rectangular plates. Then with a bit of tweeking slid the curved one over the rectangular one and increased the transparency and the 3 screws are exactly in the same spot.

Pondering it a bit, just IMHO, it would be incredibly dumb for the Fender factory to have a special model one-off plate with a different hole placement than the rest of their models. The whole interchangable parts philosophy Fender has benefited from would be violated quite a bit.

Take your point, but from a systems pov it seems zerosum whether you make one standard part and then put it through a number of customisation hand processes or simply make two parts in the first place. I suspect the main difference is up front capital.

Your most reliable answer will be to get one and try it.

Squier with the same plate

Yes they do. So do non fender plates
It seems like they all are interchangeable, which is confusing, because the ones I was considering, before I bought the $50 American Ultra one, show measurements, where the distance between the two left hole centers is closer to 1 inch.
Actually, I guess 1.08 is closer to 1.125 (1 1/8) than it is to 1.00. Still, the measurements in the photos seem strange.
