What have you bought guitar-related in the past 48 hrs?

Is your gate a two wire or a four wire?
I have the G String four wire, so the guitar signal goes into the gate before the noisy fuzzz, and the gate senses the attack and sustain, then to the muffs then back to the gate then on to the loop or rest of your board.
I do keep it in a loop or actually now a dual loop made by some one man shop I think is no longer active.
But a four wire (or four jacks on the pedal) is much better because it hears your guitar dynamics first.
That's how my MXR Nose Clamp works. It's a pretty well made design

Pretty trashed 2x12. Has two old Celestion g12 65’s in it, at least. Baffle is toast!😂
So many stripped screws, can’t get them out. I’ll hafta drill em out. One speaker is held in place by roofing nails.🤩. The t nuts have been moved so many times that it looks like a shotgun target range inside! Live and learn…. $90…

Well it turns out the guitar I bought Gotoh vintage tuners for has 10mm holes for modern tuners. So I ordered a set of Kluson nickel conversion bushings. They look closest to the Gotoh bushings without spending $600 for the StewMac bushings that seem to be an exact replica of the Gotohs.

I tried to use the stock bushings in the meantime but it seems that the stock vintage style tuners have a shaft that's narrower than the Gotohs. 4mm vs 6.35, I believe.

I also found out my Goldtop from the same company apparently came with Gotoh tuners. Comparing what I bought to what's on it, they appear to be the same tuners. I'm glad I didn't buy 2 sets like I planned.

That's a bit steep 🤣

In other news, an M12 reamer. This could end in tears - don't ask.
Burst Believers VI - really expensive book with lots of pretty pictures.
