I hate monel flatwounds, they feel sticky. 9s feel too loose and floppy. Bird inlays are prettier than dots.

I have been told I was a cork sniffer because I don't like cheap ass Firefly guitars.

Those are all ordinary working musician gear options.
Cork sniffing is AFAIK related to what in gear chat is called boutique, the finer than working grade gear.

Or particular working grade gear that got old and is now revered as fine vintages.

Just preferring one ordinary thing over another is not cork sniffery!
