Society has dictated you only get four pedals.

Move to the top of a mountain and tell society to shove off.
When you climb to the top
Of the mountain
Look out over the sea

Think about
The places perhaps
Where a young man could be

Then you jump back down
To the rooftops
Look out over the town

Think about
All of the strange things
Circulating 'round

It ain't easy, it ain't easy
It ain't easy to get to Heaven
When you're going down

FOUR PEDALS.jpg
I have been through what-seems-like a bajillion pedals during the past six years. I think this is it.
The LA Lady and the Collider get daily use, the Gemini only for a very few songs...and the Ditto hardly ever.
I recently experimented with swapping to other, less complicated, pedals. That ended within a week when I realized:
1. I couldn't let the LA Lady go. She's a luscious overdrive. Best I've ever had.
2. The Gemini is a helluva chorus pedal. Very versatile.
3. I could learn how to make the Collider work for me, even though it's pretty complicated.
Lesson learned.

Easy.

Ocd V1.7 (for driving front end to get chewiness)
Deluxe Memory Man
Boss Waza Dm-2
Cream Deja Vibe (for use on Zero Effect for even more chewiness)

I could live with just the OCD for pushing the amp.

I ‘d start with an amp that gets me the level of overdrive that fits my taste, directly from the amp. Reverb from the amp.

Boost
Fuzz
Walrus Julia. (chorus, vibrato)
Strymon El Cap (tape delay)
