Got this Gabe Crisp signature bass as a basket case project. It will need several things done to it but the more I look at it the more the creative juices start flowing.
There is definitely some real potential here.

I got this 70's VM years ago cause I thought I should have at least 1 bass in the collection. It has the earlier Duncan Designed pickups. Very decent bass.

I have an April 1980 Ibanez Blazer Bass. It’s a good companion to my March 1980 Strat.

Left: SX Ursa 1 (P) bass with an Ursa 2 (J) neck. Originally it was surf green. I stripped it and painted it shell pink. Then I painted it black. I put a Seymour Duncan Quarter pounder in it. I put Hipshot tuners and a high mass bridge on it.

Middle: Douglas WVEB-833 short scale violin bass. No mods. Perfect as is.

Right: G&L Tribute L2000. I had one years ago that I sold. Then I regretted selling it and bought this one. I made the awful pickguard with a dremel all by myself.
