EMGs and Lace Alumitones or Aluma X-Bars were the stock pickups at first, but they
now come with either Fishman Fluence pickups or Suhrs, depending on the model.
My early .strandberg* guitars were made at either the World Music Factory in Korea
or at the US Custom Shop (part of the Washburn facility at the time), but the ones i have
that were made in Indonesia don't seem to have any issues with QC.
They are all made to pretty tight tolerances.
