It’s 44 years old, 1979.Curious? How old is the neck?
You don’t need a refret here, you just need a proper level, recrown and polish of the frets.I think I should start looking for someone to put new frets on this, there aren’t too many around here. I want stainless on it!

They look taller on the photo. There’s about 0.9mm left around the 12th fret, and they’re very flat. Would that be enough for a level and recrown? You don’t need a refret here, you just need a proper level, recrown and polish of the frets.
.9 mm is about .035”,….that is pretty low. They look tall enough in the pictures but it’s a judgement call. Can you still bend the string at the 12th fret without the string slipping under your finger? They look taller on the photo. There’s about 0.9mm left around the 12th fret, and they’re very flat. I can, but I’m starting to feel like it’s wanting to slip. Had to raise the action the other day to stop buzzing. The frets above 16 are less worn..9 mm is about .035”,….that is pretty low. I figured I’d go with what’s already on there now. I’d assume it’s something like 6230. The guitar is a 1979 Greco.Any ideas yet on the fret size you're going for? I had bigger SS frets installed - 6105 I believe - on my 78. Zero issues, but the poly running up the original frets was a PIA. Like the previous poster, the originals were super low after a few fret dressings and the new frets made it so much nicer to play.
