Hi guys, wondering if anyone can help me out. I bought a squire strat recently and although I can find them in the same color as mine I can't find any at all with this same quilted top. Wondering if anybody knows anything. It's made in Indonesia. I've had it apart and the body and neck both say IC but the neck and body are about 5 months apart, from 04-05. Any info would be helpful as I'm wondering if it's a special edition or anything. It's a standard. Pics to follow

Hi, thanks a lot. It seems like your right, I've just been unable to find any with the quilted top in this color. I've seen it in the flame top this color but maybe my searching is just inadequate

Cheers. Nothing seems to come up in that search. Any idea why the body has the same stamp and follows the Indonesia details. I think before I tried the serial somewhere else and it came back and Cort factory or something. If my memory is right haha

Oh yea I see what you mean. They seem to have gold hardware there but I don't know if that's a blanket thing, I'll keep looking. The back plate on mine is a fender plate which is inconsistent with your squire plate, yours I'd assume it's the correct plate so there's another mismatch. Unsure how I feel about the Jay turser body... And now I have no idea what pickups etc I have in this either which is irritating...

Show us the pickup bobbin bottoms - my guess is you have the original good quality Squier alnico pickups in there.....

Ah nice one buddy that's good to know It does sound nice. Think I'll do a few bits to it. For some reason the pickup casings and the pickup selector are aged yet the dials aren't. Some things to change for me haha. Bridge can go I think too...
