Hi
I guess it's not new
but in the past days i have played my strat with my pedals"stompboxes" (Eq -Wah , compressor - overdrive) and in loop (riverb -delay) and fender blues deluxe or hotroad devile (that's one with an amzing clean soun) and i have played with a floor pedalboard like boss gt-1000 or line 6 Lt
the problem is the mixer , the volume is always hard to tweak and i'm not happy , or too low or too high and sometime I have really lost my straty "sound" , in short they don't hole/drill/pierce(i don't the right term in english) the mixer
At the beginning I tought well are the single coils ,seeing I play strat with only single coils
but I have played a telecaster SS , single coil the the neck and the bridge(single coil but fatter) both stock pickups
and the telecaster well did hole/drill/pierce the mixer, giving me the right volume and the "musical timbre"
with the humbucker there is no problem
I have played 6 strats :(

may I ask you if you had some issues ?
and if have you fixed quickly or there are some tips to fix it?
i'm not very good for the sound check

thanks in advance
ps i have googled before posting , and sorry for poor english

EQ, Wah and Overdrive are typically placed in front of the amp although I guess some folks might chose to put an EQ in the loop. Which blender are you referring to? I am not aware of a blender pot on the amp for the loop, unless they've added one since the last time I saw a Deville.

Hi
i mean even without effect ,seems stratocaster does lack of volume ,sometime does "disapear" (where is my strat) or is too low , even without pedals ,amp->mic ->mixer or pedalboard->mixer
the telecaster i have tried even with single coil are different , telecaster standard ,can "hole" the mixer , the volume and the sound is there
and the guitars with humbuckers
thanks

If other guitars work as expected then maybe there is an issue with the guitar. Could be a poor solder connection. Could be an even easier fix than that. Might be the jack isn't making a solid connection to the instrument cable plug. In that event the solution is pretty simple. You just slightly bend the arm on the jack that makes connection with the tip of the plug so it applies more pressure on the tip. I had a Strat with a jack problem that was always making inconsistent contact. I replaced it with a Pure Tone jack and the problem was immediately solved. If it ends up being the jack and you decide to go with a Pure Tone you need to be forewarned that it takes considerable more effort to plug the cable into the guitar. You might think at first that the jack has been installed incorrectly or that there is something wrong with it. It just takes more effort. It also help prevent the cable from accidentally coming out of the guitar if you happen to step on the cable and turn your body the wrong way.

Try adjusting your pickup heights. I have 3 Stratocasters 2 HSS and 1SSS and no problems with volumes. Also on all three I use only two Springs for the Trem unit and I constantly use the Trem arm from slight shimmers to heavy moves and they do not go out of tune.

A good Tremolo setup cures a lot and anyone can do it these days especially with YouTube help.

"Fruda" is the guy to bookmark and use,

The trick with Trem Tuning stability is to remove any friction/binding points.

It's cheap and easy to do just lube them.I use GT85 PTFE Spray lube .

eBay Italia GT85

Spray a little into the Machine-heads/String Trees/Top-Nut/Bridge Saddle and Through body String break point under the Bridge saddles. Then slack off the strings so the lube can move into the friction points.

Then ALWAYS tune from below the note e.g if the note is Sharp drop down to below the note and then tune-up. This takes the slack out of the system and reduces slippage.

HTH :)

I used an HSS Strat on stage in a two guitar/bass drums setup and never had a problem in-the-mix :/

On that track it was through a Zoom G1on Amp stomp box running through a Behringer Ultragain 200 small Valve preamp to warm up the sound into a PC via a Line6 Studio GX using a DI clean patch to let the Zoom amp sim do it's thing. I think it was a VoxAC30 patch with reverb from the Line6 Podfarm software and a touch of compression.

I a;ways set my pickups the same way on Single coil or Humbuckers take them as close to the strings until they start to get ,"Stratitus" e.g that nasty harsh crushing glass sound and then lower them back down until all 3 are balanced in volume.
