Hey, got my strings today, thanks.

So strange that 2 sets came to me and the other 2 went to Baelzebub and he’s no longer with us. I didn’t really get along so well with him, but man, this is strange.
Whenever I play 8’s I’ll have no choice but to think of him.

I’m new to this guitar game but really encouraged by the generosity of users in this thread.

My background is in woodworking and took piano lessons 40 years ago. Picked up guitar when I inherited two guitars a few years ago, one that’s almost too valuable to play regularly and an ovation.

Anyway, after building in kit strat, I now want to scratch build a couple guitars.

I came across this thread and must say, you folks rule. Thanks for being cool.
