Opinions please - Anyone tried Bulldog Formvar 50s pickups?

Hi all,

Down the Strat pickup rabbit hole which as you know is literally enormous

These will be going in a 56 Custom Shop Relic with solid maple neck and I'm after something more or less period correct with the exception of 56/57 stagger rather than vintage original with the high D. So looking for something mellow with the classic 50s spank and treble, I'm going to get them with the non RWRP middle pickup too which is the same as what's in there already.

After much searching, some eye watering prices and way too much time spent I've settled on a few possibilities. One of them is the above set, so my question to the collective is, has anyone tried them? What are your thoughts?
