Same thing Jeff Beck used, isn't it? Wilkinson split roller nut? They're pretty expensive on Reverb. I looked a few days ago.

Yeah, good to be a seller right now of them...I just sold one on eBay that went for close to $400. I would have been happy with like $150...but they're not easy to find.

I've two Plus Deluxes with the Wilkinson nut. 1990 in Graffiti Yellow (unicorn) and a '93 Antique Burst.
Love them and their nuts lol......and whenever I see another guitar out there with one, I know what they got....it's like a little secret handshake haha

I'm puzzled when people say they take away from the sound of the guitar. HOW??
1, unless you have ears like a bat or an owl, or a Greater Wax Moth.....google that one lol or..
2, you play nothing but open strings

I just don't see (hear) it.

I'm looking forward to your article on the prototype!

I had an '87 Graffiti Yellow that I wish I never sold. It was a cool guitar and a cool color. Let me know if you want to sell yours!
