New guitar rack day

My collection has grown to the point I need another and I hate those single stands. Already had the black one. Got it used for 60 bucks but it’s brand new. The seller actually had two but somebody claimed the other one before I messaged. Not picking it up till Thursday though so if it falls through the guy said he would call me. It’s almost identical to the other one but it’s about an inch taller.

Those are cool. I didn't even know folding-suitcase racks were a thing. I wouldn't even attempt to build something at the price you are getting it for !! I'd spend more than $60 in materials and end up with a crappy stand-case.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an OSHA sturdiness rating lol, but it’s pretty well put together. The sides slide down into slots on the bottom and the top part clasps to the lid like a guitar case. It also has nice metal hinges in the top part. The black one is Roadrunner brand, but this one doesn’t have any label on it that I can see. I would venture to say it’s a little more sturdy than the black one only because it’s a little bit bigger and the sides are thicker.

Found it online, it’s a GFS brand and it’s $130 new.

I like the padding. I've been thinking about hanging mine on the wall since I've outgrown the cheap rack-on-wheels I got off Amazon. There's not enough neck support on the one I have.

Well without an ocean rating we're just bumping our gums.

I've never had enough guitars at one time to have need of a multi-stand, but I've always thought they were cool. The picture of the top latching on to the lid kind of explained a lot to me.

Congratulations. I have the black one. I love it. I’ve also outgrown mine and have two guitars on a single stands.
