As someone whose fretting hand has sustained two pretty serious injuries over the years, for me at least, the shorter scale is so much easier to play. To those that say a guitar like the Mini is a toy, or just for beginners, children, those with small hands.. blah blah.. I say.. what do you call a Mandolin, Violin or Ukulele..![]()

Two out of my five Strats have Warmoth short scale necks on them. (The avatar is a standard scale Fender neck) I LOVE the more slinky feel. I can put 10s on and not fight, although I can put 9.5s on as well and it has more beef than a stock set of 9s.
