incoming Bronco bass

I'm replacing my old Bronco bass with... another Bronco bass. I just need to lay down some simple bass tracks, and was happy with the old one. I'd have preferred black but this model is no longer in production, so I'm happy with red. Cheap, does the job.

I had a really old one that played like crap but when I messed with some in the last few years they played really well. I may have just gotten a bad one and I would have been happy to have one of those that I played on at GC.

For $200, it's impossible to beat if all you need is to basic stuff. I played bass in a short-lived band with one. Sadly in-camera audio only:

Yay! It got here in fine shape and almost in exactly in tune in its' Ibanez shipping box. It was pulled off the wall of some GC somewhere. This is a fun guitar, and the color is pretty amazing. I could see having a Strat this color.

Word on the street says this is the same model bass Geddy Lee used when recording Stairway To Heaven.

when you consider that a decent set of strings is almost half the cost of the bass, that IS a bargain.
