If the Titanic went down today.

Some believe it was the sisrer ship Olympic that sank after it had been swapped out for Titanic in some mad insurance scam.

I read that book - Riddle Of The Titanic. It wasn't exactly convincing. By the end of the book I wasn't even sure that the author believed his own theory.

Actually, most people would have their backs to the sinking ship taking a selfie with the Titanic as the background

Well they aren't all morons. Take this guy. He even worked out the parallax positioning just right so he appeared to be holding up the stern. Saving lives. I sure hope he did a livestream and got a $10K check from Google for monetizing his apparent selfless act.

Surely, no one would call for help…
According to James Cameron's 1997 Titanic movie, at least, they did call out for help - The communications officer sent a message, and the nearest ship was something like 4 hours away. They also apparently had mortar fireworks they set off, but those may have been hard to see from ships far enough away.

There are reliable reports of some surviving much longer. That link I posted above was quite the read if all accurate. Short answer: it depends.
I dont argue that it's not possible some well insulated (naturally or by clothing) may have.

During my oil and gas industry offshore survival training, however, I was told my life expectancy if I fell overboard into the North Sea (28 to 40 Fahrenheit range depending on how far north and what time of year) was four minutes in normal clothing, 45 minutes in an immersion (helicopter survival) suit. And that's IF the gasp reflex on entering the water didn't immediately drown me. I very much doubt the passengers or crew had gone through offshore survival training or had immersion suits.

The Wiki on that notes it in some detail: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanic#Sinking
