If the Titanic went down today & the deceased's families tried launching (pardon the pun) a class action lawsuit against White Star Line for negligence, Bruce Ismay would submit a counter-claim blaming the passengers for being too numerous in number, for failing to bring their own life jackets, & for being insufficiently good swimmers to last till recue arrived. He would probably claim damages for the loss of his shiny new ship.
