Was thinking about getting one of these. I'm not a big acoustic player so I figured $229 wouldn't be a big deal to try one out. I really want a thin acoustic as I can't stand regular and jumbo sizes, LOL.

Anybody have one? Any opinions, alternate suggestions?

I wanted something I could leave where the dogs roam so if it accidentally got knocked over, no sweat. I do not have any high end acoustics to compare it to. It is a nice little lay around, grab when you like guitar. But I was surprised how easily I adjusted to the neck. Not a strat neck but not fat like many acoustics. I paid $200 for mine several years back. I tried to put ball end nylon strings on but that was not a bright idea. I just wanted to see what it would sound like. 2 bills don't buy ya much these days but good to see prices are fairly steady on these.

That is georgous. It probably sounds better through an amp with the neck pickup instead of whats in the TCY10.

It will probably sound like a cardboard box full of socks, given that it’s all laminate and pretty thin. But it’s meant to be played plugged in.

I'm not too worried about it, not gonna be playing any gigs with it, lol. It's just for playing cowboy chords and such in the bedroom.

That sounds like a killer deal. I usually hate acoustic necks and action. I have a Fender solid top I bought for a couple hundred, I let my brother borrow it to learn some songs. A guy that works graves brought in his Taylor acoustic/electric a while ago. Thing was awesome; super thin neck, low action, played like an electric, great tone. Then he told me it cost something like $1400. I may check out the one you posted.

Roger on the not liking the necks and action, I never have either. I'll update with a review when I get this.

I would think it has the same neck profile as my Talman. So it will be interest to get your comments on the neck.

That is good looking enough just to be sitting around. Looks like spalted and curly maple top.

The look of it def caught my eye and it was exactly what I was looking for so I made the deal, couldn't beat it.

Ok, arrived today and early on, I'm impressed. Good fit and finish and plays and sounds pretty good/well. It sure is pretty too, LOL. The neck wasn't as big as that Yamaha I had before but it's still bigger than my Strats of course. Haven't plugged it in yet, will play more with it later. It does sound pretty good unplugged, wasn't all thin sounding as one might expect. For $240 to my door I'm pretty chuffed.

The body depth on these looks a little shallower than on most acoustics. Is that the case?

And I did not notice that pickup. That’s pretty cool. How’s it sound? Try any fx yet — a little overdrive, a leslie or trem?

It is a thin body acoustic, just what I wanted. I have not plugged it in yet, and prob won't anytime soon. I've got 6 Strats for that, lol.
