See, TV sets have their programs.
They die because they want to.
Like husbands😁
Took a divebomb that bastard. Make him a grave and give Floyd a Rose.
Get a big(ger) one now, it is a great excuse.

Take care,
Robin

You can also sell the remaining boards and screen and other good parts separately, rather than just tossing one.
Who is buying?
Which brands?
At work we have about 40 sets operational and toss 4-6 each year.
Replacemnts are whatever brand is in stock and the right size, so Sony, LG, Sanyo, Toshiba and all the rest.
Never even considered getting old 21st C TV sets fixed.

Samsung, Toshiba, Sony, Philips, just about any brand. The parts sell on ebay. I buy used boards there a lot. Been lucky with not a bad experience yet. I keep a lot of good used boards also, especially T-con, and power supply/mainboards. I'm talking about larger LED TVs. There are still people who pay to get them fixed. It will dry up at some point, sooner rather than later, I'm sure, but I fix anything electronic if I can get parts and schematics. And so many are just bad caps.
