Not sure you’ll find what you need, but this site has tons of detailed info on MIJ strats.

I didnt even know those exist and it sound interesting , but the only remaining on ebay etc.. are from japan from the 80/90s ( some are on questionnable condition ) , and cost $$ to import ( taxes and duty/brokerage fees ) . But thats a great option that Fender u.s/mexico should have offer on their line up for years . Mustang , Duo sonic and some other were available in all type of scale , why not on the stratocaster .

But i doubt you will find one with specific specs like yours .

If you like medium scale ( gibson scale 24.75 ) , Warmoth has the gibson-conversion neck available . I have one on order to replace the neck of my Fender Performer . You really can customize it as you want and fit any regular strat body . I'm usually a Les paul player and have small hands so conversion neck is the way to go .

Ask Elementman , all his strats have conversion neck .

But that sound interesting . I would understand the japanese market to offer smaller stratocaster , im 5feet9 and i wear 3xl in asian sizing ;)

I am familiar with I believe the 25" scale 24 fret MIJ like the HM Strat that just says Strat on the headstock, but I did not know there were 24.75 scale Strats from Japan?
Maybe that is what you mean, 25" scale?
Not sure about the list of other specs being on those guitars.
I have one of the 24 fret necks at home but cant get to it now.
Same basic spec change as stuff like the Jackson Dinky with 24 frets and 25" scale.

Here’s my medium-scaled STM-60. Fun guitar to play but other than the scale I don’t think it checks any of OP’s boxes.

No, Fender Japan made some 24.75" scale guitars. I never understood why. Despite having small hands myself, I've always believed that the Fender scale length was an intrinsic part of the Fender sound. A slim neck accommodates small hands better than a shorter neck does, IMHO.

I have 2 2004 MIJ Aerodyne Strats, both have the normal 25.5" scale length, and I have never seen anything indicating a shorter scale was available on an Aerodyne.

As an aside, going the 'other way", Gibson Nighthawks and Blueshawks (and Epiphone Blueshawks) have a Fender-like 25.5" scale, and other Fender-like features such as the bridge. They are very odd guitars.

Read about these and would totally buy into a Gibson scale strat.
Well I've been a Strat player for the best part of 55 years with the odd Les Paul and Tele here and there.. and I've just bought a Classic Vibe 50s Duo-Sonic with a 24" scale, and I'm loving every minute of it.. and I've got VERY big hands.

Just so comfortable to play, simple, really light body with sculpted back, great pickups.. I count myself a very lucky man for discovering such an instrument actually existed. I was totally ignorant of what a little jem lay in wait for me.. haha.. 😁

they are usually same as the Us ones. I bought 7 in the past years (I live in Asia, so it's easy for me). Thinline is exactly the same scale as the american and mexican.
Only ones where there are some changes are the hybrid (where the neck radius change and is 9.5, flatter) but I never noticed any change in the scale lenght.
The 50s, 60s and 70s models are all coherent to the us models.
Form what I know wood is not related to any change in scale.
Just bear in mind the most models now use basswood, which sounds pretty bluesy to me, some people say it's a bit mushy and not as sparkling clean as other woods.
Up until now my favourite strat was a japanese one:
Japan Traditional 50s Stratocaster Anodized Ash White Blonde
Only downside of the basswood to me is that is soft so it's easier to get dings (I know something abut it!).
Cheers

Yes they are. I was so excited to get a Blueshawk. On paper it was the ideal Gibson for me. It just wasn't anywhere near right for me.

Well @sozzled .. I didn't mean to. I was just relaying a personal experience. However, I would have no qualms about recommending one these guitars for any player.. they are quite simply the bees-knees as we say in England.

I did actually do a couple of threads on these Duo-Sonics a while back. One where I was inquiring about them, and the other a new guitar day.. The links are below.. take a look.. they contain some videos.. :thumb:

If 24" is close enough to medium scale maybe check out the Fender Japan Junior collection?

ohhh i want one . after owning the stratocaster junior MIM in 2005 , some squier minis , duo sonic etc... .

i totally dig that one . 42mm width , made in japan , 24inch scale ( better than 22.75 who was too short ) .

I think my g.a.s just went to the roof . But they are expensive and importing them will cost a fortune .

94 % body size = awesome .

Yep, I'd love one as a middle ground between my 22.75 Redondo Mini and full size Fender electrics too but the cost (even though we can get them through dealers here in Aus) is a bit too high for that niche.
