Can’t find daphne blue

I’m itching to get an American strat in daphne blue with a rosewood board. It’s looking like this is a difficult find. Anybody know if the upcoming offerings will include daphne blue? I can’t do MOD shop either because they don’t ship to Canada.

I have a theory- they make the good colors that I like, except for various bursts, very hard to find.

It does appear daphne is in short supply. I see 3 FCS guitars at Wildwood . One journeyman relic , but I haven’t seen a MIA one in a while .

If they release a daphne blue , it’ll probably be a limited American Standard or from their vintage line . I don’t do Strats with 2-point trems and modern ‘C’ shaped necks but I do wish that I had got one of these when I had the chance to buy one at trade plus VAT.

You don’t see too many come up for sale so people are clearly holding on to them.

The 2014s with the channelbound necks came in sonic blue. Not Daphne, but really nice.

The Long & McQuade here in North Vancouver had one of these on display last time I was in there a few months back. Since you're in Canada, you could ask at your local L&M if they can bring one in for you.

Yeah I didn’t realize daphne blue was such an elusive color. I’ve mostly seen them on the MIM Vintera / classic series and occasionally on the AVRI/ AO , usually as a limited edition. I do see them on FCS guitars . I wasn’t really looking for one when I bought mine . I wanted the specs and the guitar was just incredible when I tried it. It’s somewhat of an odd duck though .
