Vacation day 1 - decided it would be a Pi day...

Oh My All Thos Pis..jpg

The 7 inch touch screen has a Pi 3B running it. I am going to use it across the street for my music player. It is Bluetooth to an audio receiver.

The other two I am about to fire up and see if they are faster with the new SD cards I got it last week. One is a Zero 2 W and the smallest is Pico W.

What are you planning to do to the concrete floor of your new garage/studio? I have started the planning process of gutting the garage and starting over.

Once the dry wall is up, trimmed and painted, the floor will get epoxy.

With the pour a couple years behind me now, it turned out to be a nice accident that the first slab skim coat flaked off. They chipped off the rest of the skim coat and poured another 4 inches. Now I have a 8 inch thick slab. No wide swings in temperature.

I have come to the conclusion that organizing files on a PC is like organizing your sock drawer except the sock drawer is more fun.

That is all.

I saw that too. But looks like it was only to hold the top just long enough to keep it position before it went into the press. When they routed the neck slot, the wood that was removed would have removed the staple too. I was just looking at all the jigs they use. And was surprised to see how much hand work still goes in. What did surprise me was the use of vacuum frames to clamp the braces in place. I know they are used on ocassion in forming but never thought as a clamp.

Having run a few manufacturing businesses I enjoy watching just about anything like this. when my car was being built early last year, then sent me a couple of pictures of it in process. A quick youtube search showed the entire process. Pretty neat.

I like production processes. I could watch a bottling or canning line for hours, I'm always amazed at the timing involved in putting a soft drink into an aluminum can.
