Any help identifying japanese strat body?

Recently bought this strat body, but the owner didn’t know anything about who made it or what model it’s from, only that it is japanese and built sometime in the 80s-90s (according to him).

Any help figuring out if it’s any good? Got it quite cheap and i’m planning on building a partscaster.

(The piece of tape with writing on it seems to be from the factory, as it has lacquer on and around it

Hi n9sse – maybe someone will recognize those electronics (I don't), but without any other markings or the neck itself, I don't think you're going to get much more specific than what the seller has already told you.

Well.. for what its worth.. and going on one observance only, I'd say its Chinese and not Japanese. I say that because of the equal (not offset) drillings for the tremolo spring cover. I've never seen a Japanese Strat with that drill pattern.

Oh.. and that trem and its associated parts look cheap and nasty.. only my opinion of course..
