Another "Show Us Your Strats" Thread

here is my 2013 Ron Kirn S - I’m at least the third owner. It has a 9.5-12 compound radius neck, loblolly pine body, is well under seven pounds and is the most comfy electric I’ve ever had.

I have tried to find catalog photo to support this contention but I recall seeing a version in a Fender catalog equipped with conventional pups which preceded the Lace Sensor model. It looked just like his current stage guitar. I am sure of this because I spent time and effort trying to obtain one. This one is a keeper.

My '85 Stratocaster, made in Japan, featuring rosewood fingerboard, custom blue pick guard, and the pickup selector replaced with push buttons (because I kept hitting the pickup selector while playing). I love them.

System 1 bridge, all original, except for the E fine tuner. She is well worn, but well loved, especially after a recent overhaul/set-up. I was told by an old timer that her neck is a Leo Fender 60's made neck, one of the ones they shipped from California to Japan after production was moved. Not sure if that's a fact, but it makes a good legend. :-D

My strats are so magical that those who've not proven themselves worthy may not peer upon their faces. (apologies to those here have proven themselves). Also, they are all involved in covert government ops and their identies must be protected.

I love the 90s Plus Deluxes, and the mahogany Blacktops.
The blue and red ones are partscasters, red will soon have a mahogany/rosewood neck, blue is with P90s (S.D.)

Starting from the left is my partscaster. I really don't remember the body wood but the neck is pau ferro. The pickups are Eric Johnsons and the electronics is a MojoTone solderless.

Next is another partscaster I put together. The parts list is huge and in my other thread about building a Rosewood Jimi Hendrix clone (Fender made a Rosewood Tele for George Harrison and a Rosewood Strat for Hendrix but Hendrix died before he got his).

And finally, Uncle Fester. Another partscaster I built. Spalted maple over alder with a Japanese '68 reissue maple neck. Old Fender single coils and a Gibson T-top humbucker in the bridge.

I have 2 Strats. An all natural Ultra and this one that I made out of concrete. Out of the two the Ultra sounds and plays the best
