They had Gibson pickups in the jazz box, parts from all over the world. The old Semi hollows were over 1000 dollars in today's money. That is not cheap. Jupiter was 800. So they do not sound like a entry level guitar to me. Kids did not have 800 or 1000 dollars lol.

The new Hagstrom guitars are made in China. Expensive too. Look up the Elvis reissue I want one. I love new Hagstrom guitars used. And vintage ones that are in good shape and reasonable.
No I have owned one for almost 20 years. I want a sparkle pick guard. I know for a fact I'd it so hard to find a pickguard. So I hope you find one.
It is hard to find a aftermarket unless you go custom built.
