That’s what I’m talking about, thanks! I couldn’t find exact replacements cheaply for my (Squier) Strat so the ones I found were 10mm. I drilled the holes out to 3/8”.

When replacing tremolo inserts, should you apply a little glue before tapping them in, even if the new ones are fairly tight?

If this was a Tele I could put the broken one in the 6th spot, leave the string off & call it the Keith Richards mod.

My Squier Affinity Strat has one broken tuner. Is it possible to repair this with J-B Weld, epoxy, Krazy Glue, solder, etc.? This is the one-pin style which would cost about $15 for a replacement. Recommendations welcomed.

I just ordered some knockoffs off eBay. Might have to open the holes to 9MM.
