    strat plus is a top top guitar I bought it new when I was a Kid so I'm used to it, I just bought the Japanese a few months ago and couldn't believe how great they are! also top level but the plus might as well be the best strat they made..:) it's much better than the Japanese for technical stuff...

    I think it's a different vibe between America and Japan.. in America the guitar is viewed more like a tool to tour the world and nice fenders are like a Rolex submariner or something (I lived in America for 10 years as a musician:) ...in Japan I think they see the guitar more as a refined...

    interesting i checked in your site and it says that they started using Texas specials in Japanese ST62's in 1996...but the dealer and also the serial database site said it's a 93-94....maybe only the cij ones from those years used Texas specials and the mij's american vintage...
