The thing is, I don't even need a tuner to hear that the high e string is out of whack, even compared to the open string, and that's, like you saw, with the saddle all the way up.

Hopefully, I can get it somewhat in the ballpark with this online tuner until I can get my guitar to the tech. :(

okey dokey then. I live in Ecuador and i saw a Polytune at my local music store the other day. I didnt see the price though it's probably more that $100 here. do you know of any good clipon tuners?

Ryan, low E from top of 17th fret to top of string is 2.5 mm, high e from top of 17th fret to top of string is 2.4 mm.

Howdy, Yesterday, I adjusted my Squier's truss rod and now the intonation on the high e string is off. Also, when I adjusted the bridge saddle.... Nothing changed. :mad::?::confused: it's still noticeably flat compared to the 12th fret harmonic. Can y'all help me out?

Thanks! I put 3 in 1 oil on the brigde saddles and the string tree, and put graphite in the nut slots. The elusive squeak has been vanquished!

When I push the bar down and sometimes when I bend the b and high e strings, my guitar's neck makes a squeaking sound. When I put my ear up to the neck and push the whammy bar down, I can definitley hear it coming from the neck. It's also louder toward the headstock. It kind of worries me...
