I wouldn’t mind top wrapping for fun, but the thought of having to top wrap to solve an issue on a brand new Gibson doesn’t feel good. I’d like to know that I got a good one that I can top wrap if I want to but don’t have to.

I tried hooking one end of a bent paper clip to my belt loop and the other end to the strap. It kind of works.

I guess the lighter an SG is the more neck dive. This one is reportedly 6.25 lbs. but I haven’t weighed it myself, and it has big time neck dive. I was thinking of attaching the strap at the nut/headstock, like on an acoustic. Has anyone tried that on an SG?

I do love the sound of fuzz. So crisp and clear.

It might be I little unethical, but I would buy a new one, and use the receipt to return that one. It’s only fair. That kettle should rightfully last longer than it has for the price.
