How much is this strat worth?

It was less, probably not half, but certainly less. You also have to factor in inflation though. It's likely that prices are peaking now, so if you're looking for an investment, now's probably not the time.

How much is this strat worth?

There was a significant drop around 2008 I think. On essential items, like guitars, are the first things people sell when money is tight.

    Sweeping!

But accepting the fact that the little line of dust can never enter the pan kinda is :)

How much is this strat worth?

Luxury goods are more sensitive to market fluctuations than for example property. The vintage guitar market has tanked in the past, and will do so again. There is nothing that says a 1977 Stratocaster is better than an Elite. In most cases they probably aren't, at least not in a quantifiable...

How much is this strat worth?

No, it will not be worth 20000 in 10 years, probably never. In today's financial climate with high inflation and climbing interests it could be worth less than 3000 in a few years. As an investment (guitars are bad investments), this is probably better than the CS. As for which plays better...

How much is this strat worth?

Thats hard to say. It's not what it would have come in if it was sold in the US. Some European Fender distributers provided their own cares. I don't know when this stopped, or if it was applicable to all countries.

How much is this strat worth?

The sticker looks weird, but everything checks out for a 1977 Stratocaster. $3100 is not an unreasonable asking price for a -77 in that condition.

    Radio's dead

Hmmmm... As a means of communication in case of major disasters that impacts infrastructure, FM radio is still most relevant. It is the only means of communication that can reach people over large areas, using fairly simple transmitters and battery operated receivers.

    Sweeping!

I bet you came here expecting some impressive Yngwie shizz, didn't you? But no, I'm talking about sweeping, with a broom. I like it! Compared to vacuuming it's almost a zen like experience. No noice, no smell, no need for electrical power. Plus, it's very satisfying watching the little pile of...

Got a new pedal. It's got... Fur.

I like it a lot but it certainly isn't an always on kind of pedal. The original fetches quite a bit of dough these days.

Got a new pedal. It's got... Fur.

Thank you all! It sounds great, very smooth. The tone makes it useful even at lower gain settings, as opposed to many other fuzz pedals where you might as well glue the knob at 10. It's sensitive to pickups and it loves my SG with PAF clones. The weak single coils in the -77 Strat only work...
