hey man thanks for the message. shoot sorry to get it late. yes is still have mine, its a 73 and its the greatest Fender amp i have. it will propbably be with me at my deathbed. HA! so how did it go? 300 bucks is a great price. if the amp is in really good shape there should be no reason it isnt worth 900 USA dollars. there arent to many mods that can be done to these amps, do to the point to point hand wirng, so dont worry about that. just make sure the cabinet is strong and that the board that holds the speakers in is in good shape. other then that anything else is cosmedic. i had my electronics Blackfaced by my amp guy when i first got it. best think to do is get it, and take it to your amp guy and have him/her go over it.
Hi Dark Sailor. I just did a search on vibrolux reverb and your name came up. Do you have one? There is a 1971 for sale on Kijiji in my area and I went and played it this morning. Sounds great. I offered the guy $300 and he said he had another guy coming to look at it too, and wouldn't let me take it at any price until the other guy had a look and made an offer on it. Any insights on this model of amp? Things to watch out for? It has not been modded at all and tubes are original. How much is too much if it comes down to a bidding war on this? Looks really clean and very lightly used. Thanks - Oats
